This page has been created for you to seek the same resources that I have found and have felt useful to me.

Some of these resources are based on courses I have done, software I’ve used to create this website and any other resources that I feel would benefit any readers.

Writing to Heal

Writing to Heal is my brand new writing course that I’ve set up to introduce those trying to find a positive outlet for their thoughts and feelings.

Writing helps me to relax, reflect and reconstruct myself. It helps me to understand what I’ve been through and how to get myself out of the situations that I’m in. Writing is like my free therapist that I have on hand 24/7.

And I want to teach others how they can have that too.

Self Care Challenge

As a introductory offer, the self care challenge is currently FREE!

Sign up now and receive a 5 day long email sequence with self care activities to complete each day.

If you’re not quite sure on what ‘self care’ entails or have no idea how to introduce yourself to it, then this is the perfect free challenge for you to try.

Mindful

‘Healthy Mind, Healthy Life’ is the perfect slogan for Mindful. Discover the benefits of meditations, nutrition and other helpful tips to help improve your mindset when you’re down.

Mind

Mind is a mental health charity that I have worked with and fundraised for many times over the years. They offer online and telephone contact and work hard to help those with any mental health issues get the emotional and physical support they need.

Young Minds

Young Minds is a mental health charity that provides support for young people to prevent suicide attempts. Their aim is to make sure every young mind has somewhere to turn to and even has a parent’s support helpline.

Samaritans

The Samaritans charity is made up of volunteers and is probably one of the most used mental health helplines in the UK. They are open 24/7 365 days a year to ensure that no call goes unanswered and you will always have someone to talk to. You can also email them, send a letter or use their app if speaking aloud is too difficult for you.

Mental Health Foundation

The Mental Health Foundation works to prevent causes of mental health issues by creating a large number of content for sufferers help to look after themselves. They have podcasts, videos, inspiring stories and lots of other information to help you.

Papyrus works to prevent suicide cases in the UK, especially focusing on young people under the age of 35. They believe that every suicide could have been prevented and that is there ideal goal. Kooth

Kooth is a website that offers a daily magazine to read helpful articles and content, a daily journal to track your feelings and reflect on your day, a live chat with one of the team and community boards to join others thinking and feeling the same things as you.

Calm

Calm is a really useful app that I try to use every day. It has helpful guided meditation sessions as well as deep breathing exercises and sleep stories by celebrities. You can access a week long free trial and then pay £28.99 for the year, which is well worth it in my opinion.

Headspace

Headspace has a huge library of over 500 guided meditation sessions on basically everything you can think of. You can learn how to manage your stress levels, get help on sleeping better and figuring out how to make mindfulness a daily activity.

Simple Habit

Simple Habit has wellness & sleep therapy sessions, guided mindfulness & meditation, daily motivation, sleep sessions and coaching by experts and is even personalized just for you! You’ll start to feel less stressed, start sleeping better and feeling more positive in yourself.

Daylio

Daylio is one of my favourite recent self care finds. You can record your day through customisable selections and after a few days of completing these check-ins, data will be available for you to see what actions and experiences are trending when you’re having a good day or bad day. Plus you can set yourself a daily reminder to complete your check-in.
